- Female genital somite overlaps anal somite at dorsal margin
- Male with long caudal rami compared to other male Corycaeus apart from C. speciosus which has narrower points on prosome

- Prosome points extend to middle of genital somite
- Genital somite1.5 times as long as wide
- Anal somite little wider at proximal than distal margin
- Anal somite 2 times as long as wide at the distal margin
- Caudal rami almost equals length of genital somite
- Caudal rami 8 times as long as wide

- Cephalosome separate from 1st pedigerous somite
- Prosome 2 times as long as urosome
- Prosome points extend to distal magin of genital somite
- Genital somite overlaps anal somite at dorsal margin
- Anal somite little wider at proximal than the distal margin
- Caudal rami 0.5 ¨C 0.8 times as long as rest of urosome
- Caudal rami 6 times as long as wide
